I agree- the OEM visors have a nice clean look, price on Mugen visors is bloated as well

They better be real, it's a Honda dealership selling them! Thanks for the hookup guys, I'm ordering a set for my parents for their brand new ORM Fit Sport!

Okay now my dad's pretty handy and I'm sure he's going to want to do the install himself so does anyone have a DIY on installing them with the brackets? I found the old College Hills one, but it's only tape.

they are definitely Honda OEM. I just got mine yesterday. I know for sure because I had originally bought them from College Hills, changed my mind about installing them and then sold them--these have the exact same packaging and part #.

Hey to each their own, sometimes you change your mind and then change it again... and again Cheers for the confirmation they're authentic, though.

So have you installed them yet? Anyone have a DIY video to share?

Blue - As I hope you sense I'm being tongue in cheek and it's not like I don't end up there. See I'm at that point where I forget where I was so am constantly ending up in the same place...... I'm needing a GPS implant.

To install you first need to sort out all those little parts. The clips are different so divide them out before you dig in. I started by inserting the top clips and then fastening the visor, one at a time. Last thing is to pull tape and stick it home. Just be sure things are lined up just as you want them because once stuck they are stuck. Take your time out of the hot sun.

Yup- I got them when I first got my car--looked at the instructions and they looked too complicated-so I sold them.
Everyone says they are easier to install than the instructions indicate. So decided to give them another chance. Besides they seem like they would be functional given the useless overhead visors the Fit has.

just click on each pic to enlarge

The indented part has a wiper that goes up against the glass. The purpose of it is to cut down wind noise or whatever. I just bought the damn thing for looks, but appreciate the design and build quality.

I kind of understand why people buy Nike caps when they could get a generic one for a tenth of the price.

Apparently, the OEM and Mugen visors are very similar in the way they are installed. My Mugen visors were a pain to install, because the damn instructions were in Japanese! I almost lost one of the plastic pins and pushed them in too early. Both the Mugen and OEM visors are good quality. In fact, I've yet to come across a poorly designed or built Honda accessory and let me tell you, between the Fit and the Ridgeline, I've installed quite a few of them.
