New Fit

Just got my new Fit - Silver (base) a week ago Saturday (now 300 miles on it). Looking to accessorize but not sure where to start (in some ways wish I had gone for the Sport). Any suggestions?

You are where you should start - Welcome.

First thing is the 'wish list' and you'll need to get past the Sport issue_
My first mod was tint the rear five before I got the car home.

huh? you looking for suggestions on how to customize your car?
why dont' you take sandpaper, a hammer, and a blow torch to it? You wont worry about getting your first ding, and no one will want to steal it.

what if I told you to go get a barbie sticker for your bumper?
I know... a little silly.

Well, how about the usual- rims, tint, carbon fiber stickers, and drop. Then you can really be just like all the cool kids.
I know... a little silly as well (shhh.. don't let the cool kids know I said that ).

So what do YOU want to do to YOUR car? Do you own an ipod- How about installing the ipod cable? How about mats (I love my weathertechs)? Do you know the keyless entry module is already installed in your car... you just need to buy a fob and have it programed? This is my second wagon, and I have bought cargo liners for both- Cheap investment for worry free cargo loading. My OEM is great at a good price, or search around the forum for DIY and find even cheaper solutions.

Don't sweat owning a base. I see less of them on the road which gives you a more unique car (I'm also really starting to like that rounded look to the hatch- the sport oem spoiler just looks so "stuck on", or cheap aftermarket to me now). Also, no matter if you are a fit sport owner, or a fully loaded cadillac owner, there will always be a want list. You made a good decision. Congrats, and welcome to the board!
