Rim question

I was wondering if anyone was running 18x8 40offset and 18x9 20offset on your fit? Will it clear?

I just bought a 2010 TW Fit!

I have only seen a few people with 18's not sure the details, but the tires you have to ride on is pretty lean. So you're going to compromise comfort. Congrats on your new fit...I would focus more on a 17 inch wheel for a compromise. If you get the right one they will look pretty big...

Well I was asking because I already have these wheels here at the shop. When I get a chance I will try and fit them. I just wanted to see if someone was running this setup. I also want to drop it on eibach springs

well since you got them already, and you are willing post up pictures when you can, I'm sure everyone would want to see.

i hope you dont make it curl over the head like stock. cause it would be so much easier to make a better breathing intake and/ or piece a turbo kit together.

as for the wheels, you can make it fit. it all depends on the offset and tire size and how low you're rolling. good luck on the wheels.

OMG! LMAO! A completely shameless [but effective] way to get someone to post pics, ANY pics! Lol... this forum has more pic-sluts than any forum I've ever visited!

Alright check it out the first picture below is the 18x9 with a 20 offset and as you can see they stick way out! so thats out. Next picture is a 18x8 with a 40 offset and its HELLA FLUSH!!! but it dont think its going to clear with a tire on it and its close to a piece that comes from the rear suspension arm. Now I am going to make a few calls to see about some 17x7 and some 16x8 wheels. I am on a quest now everyone hahaha

That's what I had and they were perfectly flush with the fender. I think you will end up liking the size.
