I have the Sport grille. I don't have a picture of it tonight. I think it makes the car look more like the other Hondas. The factory grille is quite ... so-so.

It is just that one bar. I wonder if a junk yard one from a Civic would work? They look similar

leaving mine as it is. if i have to paint it... i'll go black. painting would also be a breeze as the silver grill is detachable

As for my opinion (I'm very new to the FIT) based on cost and looks.

The Mugen grill is pretty good looking although the price is $296.30 but
the Sport grill is equally as nice looking at a cost of 176.38.
This may not be an issue if you have excess disposable cash.

Just my .02

I was going to buy a new Mugen but its way over my budget so I bought a used sport grille instead and I am happy.
I will probably upgrade to the Mugen if I can find a good used one out there....
I like to save $

I don't see as going Mugen grill from stock or from sport grill as an upgrade... unless you're measuring them by the $$$

Honda Fit 09-10 Front Bumper Upper Sport Grill Grille Honda Fit 09-10 Front Bumper Upper Sport Grill Grille: eBay Motors (item 140431169051 end time Oct-21-10 15:01:22 PDT)

if you want a mugen "style" grille w/o paying the steep costs for the real deal, go with a replica. pretty affordable, but comes unpainted, matte finish. no badges, requires a bit of diy, (drilling holes for the tabs and well being a bit creative with making it work) but hey. for the price it's practically a steal.
