Windshield wiper shaking at idle (the short one on the passanger side)

Does anyone have this problem? i just noticed it today, iam at like 14,500 miles right now no the car, and that thing is shaking when iam at idle.. i drive alot of people around and i feel like it makes the car look a bit cheap (ok.. yeah i know the car is abit cheap but whatever)

Is anyone else having this happen? the only mods i have is a cold air intake, and the car is a manual transmission. Model of the car is a 2010 sport.

Anyone know of a way to fix this? Its the short windshield whiper the one with a small whiper blade on it, on the passanger side of the car.

Mine's done it since new. I think it's "normal." One way to fix it might be to stick a wheel weight on the underside of the arm to change the resonant frequency.

I never noticed this, though if the sucker started shaking I would take it off. It's almost as silly as the meep meep my car used to make. Been looking for a reason to loose it. LOL

I would guess the arm position on the spindle. That blade really doesn't seat well.

The whole set-up just doesn't look right.
After all these years... it's simply wiping the water off the windscreen. With that huge glass a single blade would do, no?

Cap that covers the bottom connection on the wiper arm. Should snap off from the rear sides. It's what holds the arm on. Usually the arms need persuasion to remove.

Bolt is probably tight, I'm thinking the blade is not quite in the right place, but I do not have the problem. It's a spline connection, I believe, with a bit of location adjustment.

Diggin those rain-x blades.

IMO, that "mini me" passenger wiper should not be there to begin with... that's just me

The arm on my wiper would shake constantly, too. It doesn't seem that there's anything wrong with it, other than it being made out of really flimsy metal.

It won't shake any more, though, because I just took it off.

I'm sure I saved a lot of weight doing it, too. It should be no problem to smoke Ferraris off the line now.

I've noticed mine does this as well. As long as it doesn't make a noise I'm ok with it.

They are not happy unless they can perceive a problem with the Fit.

i mean, its not a real complaint, if its normal then thats cool, i wanted to post it on here incase it wasn't normal and perhaps their was an easy fix to it that i am unaware of.

but i guess if everyone else is having this problem then its normal....

i just payed out the butt for a new wheel because i punctured one, and for some reason i noticed that whiper blade... i was kinda upset with the car and did not care for it anymore after the wheel because i thought they gave me a messed up "used" wheel, but it turns out to be all of that water stuff they used to mount the tire on the wheel and it rubbed right off the wheel.. so technically as far as i know my car is still brand new to me... except its 1 year old now with almost 15k miles.

the rain-x blades fixes this problem? my blades are fine now... but i'll try it when my OEM ones go bad.... i didn't think it would fix anything because its the arm that shakes and not the blade...

ahhhh well thanks anyways guys, the car is fine.. and i drive it every morning to work and school and i love the sound of my intake still... I just hope honda continues to have success with the honda fit... i came close to buying a honda insight.. kinda glad i didn't because honda sales on the insight are falling fast lol.
