Both of my fog lights have broken TWICE. The first time, the dealer replaced the assemblies for free, but this time the dealer is refusing to do so. They want more than $700 to replace both assemblies (they say you can't just replace the lights). I found this on eBay and was wondering if this item would work: 2001-2008 Honda Fit / Jazz Hella Fog Lamps lights 06 07: eBay Motors (item 130441524683 end time Oct-14-10 20:15:43 PDT) . Has anyone used a kit like this to repair their fog lights? If so, how hard was it? I can do it if it is just a matter of removing the old lights and putting in the new ones, but not if it requires any other modifications. I would really appreciate any advice, pro or con. Oh yeah--I have a 2008 manual Honda Fit SPORT (it came with the fog lights factory-installed). Thanks again!

 

What is happening to your lights? I noticed recently that the lens on my passenger side foglight has been cracked by something (a rock thrown by a car in front of me) I assume but the light still functions normally.
