Eyelids for GE8
Ok here are the finished pics, took around 2 hours since I had to go from nothing to creating a template then working it, plotting it and cut/weed/mask then application. Used standard application fluid to make the process easier, took about 15 mins per side, using a heat gun on LOW from FAR away to make sure the seal and adhesion is good.
Front Shot, yes my car is dirty damn pollen season!

And from the side.

And each light separate, starting with the left.

And the right.

Really like the look and if I can track down some good quality vinyl that's a good match to my BBP I will be redoing this.

That is perfection!
Really imaginative and unique to sculpt around the "blisters" like that.
I'd like to do my SSM, and I don't want to color match - the black would be fine!
I plan on eventually getting black wheels, and it'd be a great addition.
Maybe TFB could get with you about your design? Make it available to others?

I've thought about trying to sell them on ebay and such just haven't decided if it would be worth my time, I have gloss black, white, red, silver, royal blue, yellow, lime green, silver and satin black vinyl. Just dunno how I could sell them on here without stepping on toes so to speak. Being unemployed the extra income would be nice though.
And thanks for the comments.

It's not a GE8, but here is what the SSM eyelids look like on a GD3...

it offers no real function unless you have blinding headlights. lots of cars are styled this way in car shows. and some production cars have it designed into the headlights now. think personification, and sales. people are all sorts
