Door easily kicked open from inside!!

I have a 21 mos. old daughter & sometimes whe she is crying & kicking her feet she would actually kicked the door slightly open ( opened enough for the "door open" warning light to come on). Has anyone else experience the same problem??

Considering the doors lock at 5mph(ish), that would have to be a kick to unlock, and a 2nd kick to open so it would have to be VERY skillful for it to happen more than once in a great great while.

I have a 4 yr old and in 3 cars have never had an issue like that, even with Power locks on the rear of the the two other cars.

I agree with GGP, sounds like you will benefit from the Child Safety locks.

Move the child safety seat closer to the middle of the rear seat if possible. Although I have never had the need to used it, I hear that duct tape works very well in restraining out of control children.

The GF has done that once or twice on those special occasions.
