new to Fit
I just traded in my 2003 Civic Hybrid (mantran) last week. It was in need of a new cat (know prob) and the IMA (battery pack) lights were starting to come on and off so I knew it was time to get rid of it.
I know not to expect anything close to what I was getting with Hybrid, but I will try my hardest to come close. The Fit feels like a rocketship compared to the Hybrid and it handles so much better. My old car had 120k miles and though it was maintained regularly, it was just getting old.

Well, last night I had to drop off the Fit at the dealer to get the clear bra installed today. They gave me another Fit as a loaner and it was an automatic. I was very surprised to see the automatic rev at a lower RPM than the man tran. I know the instant read out is in no way a means to calculate one mpg's but I had that thing at 42 and I can't get mine to go over 34, granted, mine only has 150 miles and the loaner had almost 6k.
Well, my first fill up yielded 34.47 mpg and the 2nd fill up resulted in 37.925 mpg. This is mostly freeway driving and going 60 mph. I am sure it will get a bit better once there are a few more miles on the car.
