Smile Question- Throttle response in 09' vs 10' GE8

Hey,
I just drove my wifes 10' Fit(12,000 miles) and it seemed to have a quicker throttle response than my 09' (39,000 miles). Any ideas on what I could do to get the 09 feeling faster again? I was thinking about checking/cleaning the throttle body as I had a Honda Element that this helped. I have a relatively new air filter. Anything else I should pursue?
I want to use this as an excuse to get a cai and exhaust but I want to know that everything else is all good first.

Every 5000-7000 miles run
A can of seafoam or tecron fuel injector treatment in your car . Preferably before your next oil change.
Keep your air cleaner clean as well change it every 16000-20000 miles
