Link?

Usually a throttle controller allows you to adjust the response time in a DBW throttle system. This will likely all but eliminate the lag that many feel between pressing the gas pedal and the engine actually revving. It will also help with quicker shifts and should help with those who heel/toe as it should make for a much more responsive gas pedal... like in a cable controlled throttle.

Just noticed this and was curious about it as well. The delay is a pain in the ass when trying to rev match, and I'm still a relative manual n00b so I need all the help I can get!

I had one awhile ago, and I really liked it. It essentially just makes your throttle more sensitive, requiring less input to rev faster. It's a fun little gadget, and the screen displays the throttle opening percentage, which is neat.

I also have one, brand new in box, for sale in the classifieds section. There was a recall on the first batch, because a few users experienced a short that would disable the unit (mine had no problems), so AJR recalled and replaced them all with corrected units. I never installed my replacement, and could use the money for other things, so I'm selling it.

Here's a few pics of my old one installed, so you can get an idea how it looks.

throttle controller

OK I have actually raced my GE8 fit and there is a small lag when trying to speed shift between each gear like a dramatic and seemingly huge loss of RPM's between gears... does the throttle controller correct that or is that just because the fit is powerless.... because if it doesnt correct that i dont really want it.... im fully capable of pressing the pedal to the floor...

PRM intake, custom axle back (courtesy of J. Buller). and a few other irrelevant things.
