mugen front

so i wasnt planning on getting the whole mugen kit for the fit, but i was just wondering if the mugen front is proportional to the stock sides and rear, as in is it the mugen front closer to the ground than the stock :P

I was curious about this to. If you look on the college hills honda site they should have install instructions that will give you an idea.

in the front in the middle it is 18.5 mm high, but out on the edges is is 15.5 high.
for reference the small spoiler that is on the bottom of all out cars (thin black plastic part that is under the chin) is visible if you bend over and look at ground level, but looks like that honda/mugen wouldn't go lower then that part. when you scrape that is what you MOSTLY hear.

and in the rear it is 23.5 in the middle and 21 mm at its lowest points on the side

nothing making you do it all at once

some quick guesstimates with a ruler for you:

the mugen front at the side hangs ~23-27mm lower than the stock bumper
the mugen front at the front hangs ~11mm lower than the stock bumper
the mugen front extends the nose of the stock bumper ~45mm

i think my fit looks a little funny with mugen sides and sport bumper (mugen front sitting on the floor next to me atm), so i would imagine the reverse would at least be noticeable, now if it would bug you that's a personal call.

the rear is already higher than the sport or mugen, so i don't think it would look out of place as it isn't 'in line' with anything really.

I see you're still holding on to the front... I have been indecisive too but when it's all said and done even though I don't like the idea of fake exhausts I will always feel like it's not finished if I don't do the whole kit. I will be doing it all. It's just a matter of time. (and$$$) When I first saw the GE8 it was a Mugen. That is why I went Fit instead of Civic. I have to say it's been a fun car to drive compared to the Civic I replaced. It has just taken me some time to come back to the Mugen Fit!

Best of luck to the OP with the decisions!

I would tend to agree with this, as long as you have the sport sides already. The mugen sides are nice, but very subtle in terms of how they change the look. The front and rear are really where the beauty is.
