My one recommendation would be to go to 205/50-16's (if you have a Sport) They are the same diameter but a little wider and offer WAY more tire brand choices, stock size 185/55-16 there are few brands and most not that good.

In terms of brands I cant really recommend that, I've not yet changed the tires on the Fit yet, and all the tires I've run in the past are way too highend for a Fit.

I'm still on stock tires with my fit and will be for a while, but on my last car I've ran coopers (don't remember which models) Falken 512 , Yokohama s-drives, as100 and Hankooks (again don't remember which models). Out of all the tires the Yokohama were the best they last about 40,000 and handle great in the rain. Now mind you where I live our roads have sea shells in it so tires do last that long plus at the time i was also driving for pizza hut I might of got more out of them. I would ask people around your area also check out the reviews on some of the tire sites. Good Luck

Thanks all
The car is a 2008 sport with p195/55 r15's . Other than tire choices
I am a little hesitant at this point to change the tire to a 16. I don't want to invest $4-500 and not like the effect of the change. Any additional recommendations would be appreciated. I wanted to order them for this weekend if possible. Thanks Again

Since you said you have a 2008 that would make your car a GD3 (1st generation) making you aware that you did post a question in the 2nd generation boards, the 09+ Sports come with 16" which is why I recommended what I did.

You were probably confused with the fact yours is an 08 but they call the new (current generation) Chassis code GE8 or GE08, heh

I'm starting to think about the 205 vs 185 debate for my '09 sport. My OEM Bridgestones are fading fast at about 30000 miles, and I'm trying to figure out what I want more in my next tire, fuel economy or handling.

There seem to be tons of great reviews about how great the Continental ExtremeContact DWS is, and on some sites it even mentions that it's sort of a low rolling resistance tire. It's about the same price as a Goodyear Assurance Fuelmax, which has good reviews as far as fuel economy and quietness are concerned, but maybe not so great for handling since it's a comfort tire. The mileage and quietness are appealing to me a bit since I might be taking some big road trips this summer, but for around town normal driving, the Continental sounds nice.

Anyone have experience with either of these tires on their Fits yet?
