I am in process of getting a 2011 Fit Basic. I didn't need any of the sport features, but I did like the spoiler's look. Does anyone know if there is a way to get a spoiler put on the basic through the dealership and around what cost it would be? Thanks

 

I would doubt it, the sport has a different hatch part number that has welded flanges and predrilled holes. It's not that bad to do yourself or have a body shop do.

 

There are several options. I would just research which spoiler you want and decide which mounting method you want to use. I put one on my base and it is an OEM style ebay wing. Click on my progress link in my signature if you're interested. I've changed up my base a little. If I researched more I would have got the JDM style. I personally like it better and it's different because you don't see many of them around.

you can also try and find someone with a sport who wants to swap out their hatch ( if they wanted a jdm style or after market spoiler they would prefer the base hatch )

 

Just buy the sport imo. Can't possibly go wrong with what you get for the money. Plus, the sport bumper has more room for your intercooler, because you will boost it.
