How do you open the trunk?

How do you open the trunk?
Stupid question folks. Is it just me, or are there no levers in the inside that opens the trunks of the 2010 Honda Fit DX-A?

its a handle under the tailgate above the license plate. Nothing in the car to press or anything.

It keeps the hookers from escaping. Had to reinforce the cargo cover though.

There should be a little square panel (squared on my Fit) that you need to pry open; and you have to pull a string to open the hatch from the inside.
