I came across what appears to be the same deflector at Advance Auto Parts - cheaper than ebay too. If you get it there it should be an easier return if you don't like it.

If this link doesn't work, search for part number 32003, "Aeroskin Hood Protector, Smoke":

Alternatively, I have a Magnetbra that I'm still very happy with: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...protector.html

AVS has always done everything the cheap-o, adhesive way, haven't they? I know their "world famous" window shade things are the stick on type and not the in-channel stuff like WeatherTech.

The thing about a deflector is it can't be removed, right? Because of the adhesive? Are you still liking the magnet bra, and is that easily removed?

I've had the Magnetbra on for two summers now, and still have no complaints. You can remove it in a couple of minutes. Re-installing might take 5-10 minutes to get it lined up just right. I choose not to use it during winter because I'm concerned about road salt/spray getting under it, plus you don't have warm temperatures to bake out any moisture that might get under it, especially around the plastic edging.

Are there any problems with it in the rain, or rather, after it rains? Does it have to removed to dry it? Thanks!

I have the stickon one that the OP asked about...It's been on for about a year and 3/4's....40,000 miles...no movement, no condensation, it, to me, looks good.

Would I do it again? Probably....It's not great, but it does protect the nose of the hood....

I don't remove the Magnetbra after it rains. It doesn't seem like water gets between the bra and the hood, but a little water does collect in the "C" shaped edging. But at summer temperatures, the edging dries out after a day or two without removing it - I've pulled it off to check.
