Looking at it again, from an overhead 3/4 rear view, I see a little Mercedes. Little R class and a little of the creasing on the G's.

Just a little inspiration. In no way do I see a direct match.

Those tails look interesting... I wonder if they'll fit the vanilla Fit

Looks like a Honda City with a tumor. Pass. If they wanted to offer a large hatch, why not bring us the Civic hatch again?

With vinyl wood trim on the sides it would be perfect.

The same could be said about the car itself my friend. And the CVT transmission.

I say PASS.

I highly doubt they will be introducing this here, but I am prepared to eat my own words. <---- words in a box that I may eat.

I am glad there is a plethora of jap only models we don't get in the states, Freed included. It's hard enough defending Honda's image as it is.

Not digging, they already have a Van, they don't need to make another van.... the selling point of the Fit was its agility and versatility with decent cargo space. If people need huge cargo space, get the Odyssey. Fit handle well, but is somewhat slow, and making it longer and bigger ain't going to make it any better.

it looks like a mutant oversized rodent, but if this comes to the US, I'm actually tempted. I could use more cargo space but I'm still in my 20's and not ready to drive a minivan. This will be my utility car instead of my Fit, and I'll probably get an S5 as a weekend car.

The CVT 1.3 would be a great car for people that can't drive without a cranked up sound system wailing away while they are sipping a Big Gulp and talking on their cell phone while looking at their GPS.

Interesting that they put the longer US nose on the Shuttle. I wonder if that's just to balance out the big tail appearance-wise, or if there are Japanese safety regulations that required more crash protection for the heavier Shuttle.

You know you can rev up to 7000rpm?
In Europe, many big cars have around 110hp and they don't complain more than that. However, they usually have turbo diesel engine, so 110hp but 200lb of torque...

Anyway, the fit shuttle is ugly and without a an optionnal 3d row of seats, I don't get the point, the normal fit has enough cargo volume for a small familly (get a roof trunk if you really need more). If I want a wagon, I'll get a real good looking wagon, something like a golf/jetta wagon tdi.
