NEW Honda FIT Shuttle! extra capacity!

ever wished your fit had MORE trunk space? i just came across this today, i was kind of taken aback as to how much extra space the trunk has! actually i want the grille and taillights! i wonder if the taillights would actually FIT the USDM Fit. and i'd kill for the panoramic glass top. fit freaks, check it out, let me know what you think...and watch the movies, click on the jumble below

Bigger yet still using the same engine. Didn't see anything stating power but hope they increased it. Fit is slow already so I can't imagine it with more weight. They do offer a hydrid through.

It has added on about 90~130kg to the JDM GE8's 1050kg. Engine is rated exactly the same as the current L15 in the GE as it is exactly the same engine. Only comes in a CVT or 5speed autotragic in the 4WD version. The hybrid version doesn't use the 1.5 from the CR-Z and it's weight can go up to 180kg more than the GE8 depending on what options are chosen. 396lbs is an awfully lot with not a whole lot of oomph to begin with, but to also use the 1.3 hybrid powertrain, this thing is definitely winning some slow contests.

Well, if you're hauling enough people to fill it up... I doubt you'd want to accelerate all that fast anyway. I can imagine all the back seat drivers complaining that you're going too fast. gAHHH

But... I wanna get those tail lights from the Hybrid version though.
I hate all this red we have in our tail lights.

It's a handicap option. Not a standard item.

Gotta say I like it. Definitely needs lowering, a better looking rear diffuser, and would look cool done with a beach wagon theme. This, plus selling the Fit City Aria here would flesh out the line better, much the way the Yaris is sold. Personally, I can't figure out why anyone would buy a car in this class that isn't a 5-door, but since people do, it's time for Honda to provide Fits in more flavors in North America.

And as an aside, Carscoop also has pics of the Honda Brio city car for Asian markets. It's adorable! Looks like a baby Fit. :]
