Road trip
my ge8 was awesome on long trips...no complaints, except depending on your seating position for the driver, it may get a little uncomfortable. at least thats what i've found on my trips
also, because of its taller profile and narrow footprint, just keep your hands on the wheel when driving with stronger wind on the highway lol

I've driven from Washington down to California and since I've had it, all the way to Austin Texas. The Fit is a great road trip car especially with cruise control. Exceeded my expectations.
I just came back from a roughly 2200 mile road trip from San Diego (92126) to Lakewood Colorado. I have an 11' Fit Sport (M/T). The car held up great. I was cruising between 65-70mph and was getting roughly 39-42mpg. On the way back, I was cruising between 75-80 and was getting around 37-39mpg. Love this car. My Evo X could barely get 19mpg even at 65mph.
Handling - The car handled fine, very nimble on those zig zag roads in Utah. It did rain, but the stock tires hugged the road just fine. Other than that, the car does wander around a bit and gets pushed around by the wind too easily even with a 200lb passenger and about 100lbs of luggage.
Amenities - A/C sucked. The cycling time is just crazy slow. I was sweating like crazy even at full blast (95-105 degree weather). Cruise control worked flawlessly though.
Power - Lol. It struggled a lot during those hill climbs.
