$20,000 used GE8 fits!

I was in Oregon hiking, etc, and stopped at the honda lot in Eugene, Oregon just to see the new CR-Z. I saw a couple of used fits there, sport versions with auto transmissions, and both were over 20,000 used. WTF??? I should have taken photos. One has 29,000 miles and the other was in the high teens. Just thought I would share. Used Honda Fit Eugene, Used 2009 Honda Fit Eugene (Stock No. H8864) @ Kendall Honda Eugene Oregon

I would believe it. I got a trade in offer of $19,275 on my 2010 Fit Sport Navi Auto. I'm really thinking about pulling the trigger. I bought it a week before the earthquake/tsunami in Japan for $17,800.

It is crazy right now...

It's nuts... the values did spike because I did a KBB private-party search for my 2010 Sport with 8k miles on it: Excellent $20,115

Note I paid 15,738 for it brand-new in March or 2010, and people will pay high book for an immaculate ride (not knowing they'd get a better deal on a new one). I love Hondas for resale value... sold my '05 accord after 4+ years and only lost $4k off the new purchase price.

Hmm, purchase new Fit... then sell for more than paid and make a profit.

Perhaps I could drop my real job and resell Fits.

Anyone want a 2011 Fit Sport AT with only 1,600 miles?
