Dashboard indicates door is still open

HELP! My dashboard keeps indicating that one of my door is still open when it's not. When I bought the car, I knew that the hatch was replaced. When opening up the back I found that the harness to the lock is all mess up and broken. I need a new harness (I think) but can't seem to locate one anywhere.

Anyone know where I can find one? Or have any suggestions???

Honda parts counter? (or online)

Here's a link to an '09 (look for your model) for the page with the tailgate wire harness. The parts counter might have something less than the entire rear harness.

My brother in law said it could also be the alarm... bc it wouldn't let me lock the car with the fob remote but it would let me unlock it.
Thanks, I will check the alarm first and if it fails, will be looking into buying a new tailgate wire.

i had this happen and it was my alarm. something about the way the dealer set things up caused a wire to hit some metal and it would cause all my interior lights to light up, alarm key wouldn't lock car, and the door open light would turn on.

brought it to the dealer under warrantee and got it fixed
