Scratch on hood rusting

Scratch on hood rusting

Hi.
2010 Fit Sport AT
We have a small scratch thats maybe 5/8 of an inch long on our hood.
Its starting to rust.
How can I fix it?

get some fine grade sandpaper and touch-up paint from the dealer. $5-$10 total and you'll be able to touch up tons of rock chips, etc...

I was under the impression that the hood on the '09-'11 Fit was Aluminum not steel, and thus won't rust..

Thin... VERY thin steel. Aluminum would be an extra expense and would add to the overall cost.
