Uhhh.. '12 Kia Rio5 sure looks good!
2012 Kia Rio5
Very interesting. 17" wheels, 30/40mpg, 138hp. Might consider an even trade, seeing as my '10 Sport is still worth $18k here

OMG ANOTHER CAR THAT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE EVERY OTHER SUBCOMPACT!
<- Don't see the big deal. Hey guys. I'm going to trade in my Honda for a KIA that looks exactly the same, all the while getting myself more in debt! Win, right?

The Kia I owned before my Fit left such a bad taste in my mouth, I would only take another one of those cars if it was *free*. Even then I'd hesitate if I could afford to buy something else.
Just saying. Maybe they've gotten better since the one I had was manufactured.

Honda is not far off this mark either... no MT Fit with navi anymore. No MT regular Civic except the DX/LX.
But the EPA mileage, 6 speed auto and added engine power of the Kia, can't argue with that. 30/40 is a big bump for 27/33. No Magic Seats and such though.
Bottom line, the Fit could use a nice bump in HP. R18 instead of L15.

I've been saying the Fit needs an R18 for a while... for a sporty model. Imagine 140hp under the hood of the fit? And then you'd have the option of Mating it to a 6sp MT with a taller final gear for even better economy. The l15 is a good motor but i think misplaced in the Fit. It needs to go in something more aerodynamic and I could picture it working well in the Honda City. The lack of a decent COD on the FIT means it needs a little more torque which the R18 would provide.
