Stock spoiler problem

I have a 2010 Fit Sport, and I've noticed that there is a rubber cushioning material being squeezed out from under one side of the spoiler. You can see it on the under side of the spoiler.

I'm guessing it's some cushioning between the spoiler and the body to allow it to be tightened without crushing the parts...

Anyone have this problem or solutions?

According to my warranty booklet, I'm already past the 6 months on this sort of thing... so looking for any DIY suggestions

Every Fit I have seen has this issue, it's not load bearing and the gap is big enough that it won't hit even without the rubber pieces. I wouldn't worry about it, either remove the pieces or try and push them back in.

Thanks, I'll get a plastic implement of some sort and try to cram them back in.
