The painters tape around the mirrors has since been removed, it was temp. to hold on the carbon vinyl-

I've also added the rear aplique through Honda O.e.m

Nice work so far. Defiantly unique. I say it needs to be lower, but looking good.

Nice! your photos are excellent.
Looks like Honda failed to cover the a/c condenser on the Insight as well. Search on here for threads on ideas for protecting your condenser from road debris.

Looks great. Why is this thread in the GE Fit forum?

Because racecar? Oh wait...

Because no Insight forum on internet?

Cool car for sure. I like all the authentic BBS stuff.

Looks nice, I may have to try and convince my mom to let me do this to hers. lol

And yes there is an insight forum on the internet. All they really care about though is their MPG's and which tires offer the least rolling resistance...

That's a cool ride. Some better shots would show it off more. Like, from standing away from the vehicle a bit. Front quarter view too. Can't tell what it looks like on the road. I actually like these cars though. Nice direction with yours!

Thumbs up

Nice, tasteful mods. I don't think I've even seen a modified Insight, I like the direction you are going with yours. Good choice on the BBS'.

Thanks for all the support gents-

*lower fersure, but it's so drive-able right now haha I enjoy not having to take it easy when going through a rough patch of road.

*And yes, the Insight forum is filled with older guys who'm thing modifying cars without gaining mpg's is ridiculous and a waste of time. Sorry I am intruded on your GE threads, figured you guys had a more, younger approach to tasteful additions

I'll keep it up to date as more mods come- Roof rack, O.e.m fogs, and some other tid bits to come!

Keep us updated. Love the mods so far. The BBS wheels really make it.

I'm cool with you being here! The engine and some of the body parts are the same. You just have a different body and chassis. Keep us updated. Looks good and I'm sure it can only get better!

I like, but I feel like a different wheel would 'fit' the car better

Get a lower grille installed... your condenser is already screaming bloody murder, with that huge gaping opening.

What lower grille would you guys recc.? There aren't really any on the market as a kit for the Insight- I think someone did a grille install using some mesh from a big box store on here....

Your insight looks great. What size and offset did you rebuild your BBS RS wheels to?

I realize this is an old thread from 2011, but i'm hoping you'll see this.

Thanks

I like your Insight a lot. I like how you chose a different path then everyone else and the bbs wheels work well. Some more pictures of the car from some normal angles would be nice. Good work and can not wait to see more.
