Hi fellow members of the FIT community. I could write a 10 page story about this car of mine but I`ll be as suscinct as possible in describing my problem. I live in Chile and had the "good idea of getting a Japan Market 2008 Fit. This model is a GE6 chassis engine number L13A- 409XXXX. The car had the steering wheel on the "wrong side" of course, so I had the steering rack reversed and about three months on the road, the problems started. The wheel would turn all the way to the right on its own when left unatended. Then gradually it turned heavier and all of a suden it quit. Then I was driving a mechanic steering rack car. The problem was that when switching the rack they left some wires exposed and they shorted. The result, computer and rack motor burned. the car is astill driveable but is like steering a tank without steering power. Not recomended to anyone.
My question is, can someone kindly le me know where to turn for sourcing the whole thing ? Honda Chile will not touch the car as it was not sold by them. So here I am, stuck with a semi driveble car and no hope of help from Honda Motors. Something like buying a grey market Rolex without source for spares, which is not the case as you can find all kinds of Rolex parts in eboy.

Hope someone can shed some light into this, so as to see the end of this tunnel.
