Any more 205/50/16 photos?

Can't find pics of any 205/50/16 tires on our GE here. Can someone post pics of 3/4 front and 3/4 rear or at least direct where to find more pics?

Thanks. I've seen that one. Any more? I'd like to see the whole car in the 3/4 shots.

I definitely don't want to go 195s because of the sidewall height disparity. I like that the 205/50 is essentially identical in aspect ratio to the 185/55.

I'm actually a little leery going to the 205/50s because I may not like the bulging appearance of the wider tires over the rims, and from what I've read on many of the 205/50/16 tires for this car, they either are noisy, don't have as much steering feel, or don't have better wet traction over the Dunlops, to name a few.

Most of that depends on the rubber (and therefore varies by brand).

And for reference... I drove 75-80 mph through torrential rain in NY and PA on Conti DWS 205/50/16.

I posted some pictures of my 205/50-16 Continental DWS tires on another thread where you wanted some pictures of said tires.

Are you more concerned with how they look or how they perform?

Both. I have to weigh everything and decide.

Thank you ed in texas—that was exactly what I was looking for—stock height, stock wheels and offset with 205/50s.

With your pics, I think I will go ahead and go for that size.

In fact, if you don't mind, do you have higher rez versions of those pics? Do you mind emailing them to me? Thanks.

Classy looking ride, Ed! The stock sport rims really look good.

While the thread is more mileage oriented, check out my experience at https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...downgrade.html.

At proper pressures the tire feels good. There isn't some crazy excess bulge going on. Just the mileage is my major downer.

I really like the stock sport wheels. This car was sold with 62k miles on it a few months ago and replaced with a base model in white. I am struggling to make the base as nice as the sport. Thankfully there are some good examples on this forum.

Thanks again, ed. Looks good. Now I just have to decide on the model tire.

How is the steering feel compared to the Dunlops? Any negatives compared to the Dunlops?

In the same width there would probably be more slip angle because the tread patten is so open.

The sound will be different. I am not sure his the sound changes as the tires age. Hydroplaning resistance is way better. Tire rack lets you sort reviews by make for any tire they sell.

First search on size. Then deselect on catagory. Then sort by user rating. Then read reviews for the tire. Select "see all reviews". Then select Honda out of the drop down list on the left. Then order by worst to best.

Look for people similar to you.
