My car's too high to park beside you. It's a 4x4 compared to your GE.(

Wow, nice looking car. It is cool to see just how good a base (or LX in this case) Fit can look. We don't get body color mirrors ont the base here either, though I like the black with my white fit. I am currently on the prowel for a sport spoiler that I will paint black and put on.

I also wish I had access to a lift. Lucky.

i second that. Was going tofabricate one out of alu plate, but this will be less expensive and easier Did you notice any difference in regards to highway speed and turbulence from wind/trucks?

Thanks man I can't tell you how much all you guys' comments mean to me. Do it up! The spoiler is all I knew was different about the exterior between the USDM base and the CDM LX trim models. Or so I thought until you pointed out the body color mirrors. Nice one eagle eye.

Don't forget to +rep! As far as I can tell I am teh origin4tor of the CR-Z under engine splash shield DIY. Honestly, I didn't drive the car on the highway very much before I had it on as its had the under engine splash shield since it was young. I suppose, if I were curious enough I could now removed the engine shield for a full tank of gas or a couple even, and see if it makes an overall average impact on my fuel economy. I know with the engine shield, in the summertime, in the city, I usually average around 4.6L/100km to 5.2L/100km depending on my mood.

I've been debating trying to determine just how much colder (if at all) the air my home-made short ram [with heat shield] takes in is then the stock air box. I could do this by connecting the Honda diagnostic system to my car and watch the live data, particularly the IAT sensor readings, as I do say a 30km drive on highway and in city and record my findings. Then repeat on a stock fit I could just grab off the lot or one that is in the shop for work. Then compare the figures.

Replaced both front strut bearings and all the rear shock upper bushings yesterday. Solved alot of the knocking noise.

Well I have only driven on them for a month in the cold and with my winter heliums w/ 195/55 x-ice... but I can say that it does already feel alot more responsive to my inputs, obviously much firmer, and on its softest setting its very comparable to the factory ride. Overall the car feels like it has greater agility as compared to with the Eibach springs. Super glad to have the Progress 19mm RSB though, the car is perfectly neutral between understeer and oversteer

Nice work. I am interested in the under engine panel thinking it might result in 1-2 more MPG:
1. Did you have to drill holes or cut anything out on your car prior to the install?
2. How do you drain oil. Is there a OEM hole? or did you have to cut on in the panel?
Thanks,
Dan

I'm pretty sure he didn't drill any holes into the other panels, just used zip ties to hold it in.
And as for doing oil changes, he just cuts the ties and put in new ones.

Humm, correct me if I am wrong, but don't you need holes to put Zip ties thru?

Hey great looking car, and thanks for sharing all the photos!

Quick question, how did you manage -3.5 camber?
Keep us updated on what you need to do with the fenders to fit those wheels without rubbing. My setup is nowhere near as aggressive as yours, but this is a great reference for me!

thanks again

Uh oh I was worried about the day someone asked about how I camber the front aha.. Let's just say, it involves a die grinder and a carbide bit
