Dayman er.... I mean Daylights

I have a couple of questions about GE8 lights:

A. For the turn signal lights and the daylights could I swap them for a more brighter bulb without shorting the line or blowing a fuse/bulb?

B. Is there a way for me to make the daylights and the regular lights shine at the same time?

daytime running lights use the highbeam filament in the headlights, so you can't make it brighter or have them both on.

having them any brighter is probably going to just blind oncoming drivers.

the only way to have DRLs on at the same time, is to basically make your own DRL circuit (an "always on with key in" circuit) and use a separate bulb/LED for it.
