any luck with using navi for outside temp or other gages?
Anyone have good luck with utilizing the navi screen for other gages like outside temperature? I'm sure most of you are more interested in boost, egt, etc. Also, Amy luck playing dvd movies?
Not sure about outside temp, but there's a way once you get in to the settings to see actual mpg. 
it was mentioned in some older threads. You could also change the splash screen I believe.
As for DVD, it is possible but you have to some serious mod ---> DIY: Add Auxilary Video Inputs to Display Custom Video on Stock Navigation Screen - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums
Once you do that mod you can add an external DVD player, or gaming system, or even add a back up cam to the factory Navi ---> DIY: Add Backup Camera for Reverse Camera Display on Factory Nav Screen - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums
Most would say it's easier to just upgrade to an aftermarket unit, but atleast some hacks/mods can be done to the factory Navi.
