Which Replacement Brake Pads?

I have an 09 Fit, great car, zero problems with it.
I have about 33K miles on it and it's time to change the brake pads.
I'm amazed I was able to get 33k out of the factory pads. I can't get 1/4 that out of after market pads on my subaru.
Should I replace with genuine Honda pads, and hope to get another 33k out of them? If not, what are the recommended pads to use?
Thanks

I'm a big fan of using OEM rotors, but you can usually find better aftermarket pads for the same price as OEM.

If you have alloy wheels, I highly recommend going with a ceramic pad. They put out much less dust, so cleaning the wheels won't be such a pita. There are other benefits as well, but that the only one that has ever mattered to me.

Well, are you looking to upgrade or are you satisfied with the Fit's braking?

The front pad set including shims and lube is $42 plus shipping from Majestic Honda (item 9 on this page).

I vote for Hawk HPS. Better thn stock for stopping and longer lasting.

I'm a big fan of using OEM pads.

The thing I really like about the OEM pads are they are quite and they are easy on the rotors and they come with the shims and grease.

My stock pads (115K miles still plenty of wear left) readily activate my antilock system, i.e. the brakes are locking the wheels and the antilock system is preventing this. How does one improve on this for stopping the car?

Better tires will fix your lock-up issues.

I also vote Hawk HPS. They are what I have currently, along with some cryo'd crossdrilled Brembos with Goodridge SS lines and Motul fluid.

Love this setup.

49,000 on the OEM pads here, and counting. Then again, I'm an old man, and drive like one.

Love this setup.
My antilock brakes work as designed. I don't see this as an "issue". I have Yokahama Avid ENvigor tires.

That is because you don't track your Fit.
