2012FitFan - My Fit
#41
Just over 13 months of ownership and my Fit has nearly 21,000 miles on the clock. It's running very strong. I'm averaging around 35 mpg city/hwy in metro Atlanta area.
I couldn't be more pleased with my Fit!

Just took it on its first long trip down to LA and Santa Barbara from San Francisco and put 1K on it. Drove great and averaged 37MPG on the FWY for the trip. Got up to 40MPG AVG on the trip but higher speeds up at 80 really hurt the mpg's!
After 13 mos my mileage average is 32 mpg. Most of my miles are short trip city miles and I'm really pleased with the 32 mpg.

I may be one of the few people that actually kind of likes the OEM fabric interior of The Fit.
Before I purchased my Fit I had planned on getting Clazzio's based on numerous threads that bemoaned the original fabric. But once I got my Fit I found I like the fabric a lot better than I thought I would.
But I will admit, every time someone posts a picture of their Clazzio's? I think it looks so good.
It's been a couple years plus now with my Honda Fit...but perhaps I may have to consider Clazzio's again. I don't mind the fabric...but damn those do look good.

Steve244: Thanks for all your help and advice!
GTRPLYR: That sounds like a great trip you had! Glad your Fit is treating you well my friend. It really is an awesome car!
fitchet: The Clazzio's were the single best upgrade I've done. The stock seats were fine, but everything stuck to them and they were hard to keep up with. You just have to wipe down the Clazzio's and they do make the interior look rich. :-)

I installed U-ACE 3D liners. I updated the first post with a few pictures.
Maybe window visors next?

I really like the look of the OEM visors compared to other choices out there.

I installed my OEM door visors yesterday. Installation isn't too bad. I was over thinking it. Once I got started it went quickly. I installed the EPT sealers as well. I read where they help with possible window rattling. In lining them up, I installed them a little differently then the College Hills video showed. I lined the two main brackets up with the visor holes, then used the push pins. I removed the long adhesive tape, pushed them down in place and installed the final brackets in the rear. This worked well for me and lined them up perfectly. I really like the streamline look of the visors on the vehicle.
Anyway, here are a few pics.

I had it done at a small local business in Hiram called Gotcha Lookin Good. They did an excellent job and have a good reputation in this area. If you're interested, ask for Dianne. (770) 222-9322

Love the look of your clazzio seat covers. I'm seriously considering to buy them for my '13 sport. One question, I see two pvc produts on bean garage website , quilted and regular. Which one did u get? What exactly is quilted?

I got the regular. Check out first post in this thread. https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...out-there.html
Second picture is quilted.

How was the install of the Clazzio's?
