Don't get a K&N or the oiled aFe one. From my research, there have been claims of people saying the oil from the filters are killing their map/maf sensors.

Look into the aFe pro dry. It is a washable/reusable non-oiled drop-in.

Don't overoil the filter when you clean it, problem solved. I've had K&N on quite a few cars without any issues whatsoever. Have one on my Fit, no problems.

I wouldn't spend too much money on *insert JDM brand here* unless you just want it for the name. You're not picking up any real power with a panel filter. I just got mine because I didn't want to spend $30 on an OEM one (K&N was $35 and reusable).
