B-Spec Kit Components
Now, Honda has announced their line of "manufacturer-approved suspension components." For $2,800 you'll get coil-over shocks, camber bolts, braided stainless brake lines, an air filter, front and rear race springs, a cat-back exhaust, front brake pads and an A/C delete belt. The kits will be available on 2/1/2012 through HPD.
Does anyone know who makes the coilovers and whether or not the brake pads are street or race compound?

I may go ahead and buy the $2,800 kit and not use the A/C delete belt.

I believe struts/shocks built by Bilstein and the springs done by Eibach. Both obviously with the help of Honda Development.

^ Ooh, that would be good. I'm curious about the pads still once we have confirmation of the coils.

I wonder if the car is streetable after this kit is added.

I dont think you can buy it unless your a race car driver. Honda requires that you be part of a sanctioned racing organization and that you provide results from your last two races for you to order from HPD.

I only thought there were SS brake lines. I didn't know there was pads?

I can always build a better kit but it would be neat to throw down and get off to a great start with the next Fit.

These are all built by Honda in house. Brake pads are race compound due to the fact that the kit revolves around racing in the B-spec class.

I am looking for the source, but I read it on a Honda affiliate site for sure as well.

The coilovers can be had for $1100. $1700 seems like a lot for the rest of that stuff.

I got mine here. Bilstein 47-165854 Performance Suspension System | AJUSA.com

Says they are out of stock now. I actually paid $1030 shipped when I got mine. Just do a google search for bilstein 47-165854 and you will be able to find your best price.

I also got camber bolts at jegs but I think they were only around $35.

BTW these coilovers are awesome.

Those Bilsteins aren't even close to the same spring rates as the ones you would get from the B-spec kit keep in mind...they probably have much stiffer valving as well.
