B-Spec Kit Components

B-spec racing is restricted. Your only allowed a certain amount of HP per ton so teams try to squeeze everything they can from the car same as with any form of Motorsport.

I used to drive Maximas, had an '01, '03 and '05. Everyone said intakes did nothing yet my car would out perform others. I am new to Honda and wonder if the ECU dials back gains seen on the dyno after an intake install.

Well unless they are doing it for sound it seems the dropin and pipe must do something otherwise it would be a disadvantage. What I am getting at is do intakes and exhaust improve horsepower or not in the Fit? It seems everyone says no and that the throttle just dials back or the computer re-adjusts.

I don't doubt that. These are great for the street though. Max spring rate for b-spec is 500 lbs per inch. Not sure what the rates on these are but they're fairly soft...at least the progressive part of the coil is.

All you have to do is join SCCA/NASA compete in two separate events and you will have it. You could give honda your last 2 results on a sanctioned SOLO/Autocross event and have access to HFP parts.

As far as the exhaust goes, I think it will lose power on the bottom and gain at the top, where it needs to be for racing. Don't think of those mods as power adders, more like power tweakers.
