Sound proofing
Just to add some more info to this thread. I followed Funkster's advice for using CLD and Ensolite on my 08 Honda Fit for the doors, the rear hatch/rear wheel wells, and the hatch door (thanks Funkster!). I was a little bit liberal in using it, and it took about 65 sq feet of CLD and 42 sq ft of the Ensolite.
However, I went with Audio Technix 60 mil deadner over RAAMmat BXT. AT sound deadner has gotten good testimonials for rubber/butyl compound deadner, and it costed out at $2.4/sq ft shipped for 50 sq feet vs. $2.85 for RAAMmat for 37.5 sq ft shipped. Use coupon code "CA" at checkout. The AT deadner was very easy to put on and work with.
AT has posted some test data showing it fairly equivalent to the much more expensive Second Skin deadner. Take what you will from it since that data is posted by one competitor about another.
