19" (L) 29er with front wheel off fits fine in the hatch with the rear seats down.

why not just take the evo out for bike transport since it has the rack already. I absolutely hate taking the wheel on and off so I got the rack. I would've gone with a hitch but not so sure of the ground clearance since my fit is lowered. Also, roof racks look nicer but, kills mpg.

If you have a 20mm or 15mm thru axle fork you probably wouldn't mind taking the front wheel off. As a dropout fork will tend to lose its place when it come to rotor alignment.

Both my 29ers have 20mm axles, so I have to use an adapter to fit on the racks. I don't have the stand up racks, I figure I'm losing enough MPG with 1-3 MTBs up there I don't need it higher or extra wheel/drag then needed. No hitch option for the EVOs either, frame doesn't allow it w/o custom 100%. Whole point of the Fit would be to drive the EVO less for everyday stuff. Going to a bike race in LA cost $40-50 in gas with the EVO.

jsigone, thought you might be interested in looking at Potenza's thread and pics of his set up.

Your bike will fir. We put 2 road bikes inside, front wheel removed. Rear wheel between front seat and b pillar. We have a GD & a GE. I like the 2012 better.

Well, the ge is a little bit larger and has a bit more power. But the gd is probably a better overall car. plus the aftermarket support is much larger. specifically aesthetics, which you said you would be mostly likely to do. And its cheaper lol. Loved my 2010 though..
