I'm looking at buying a decent used carseat for my grandbaby-to-be. I found one I think will be good, it's a Britax BSafe model# E9BE53C. My daughter suggested making sure it will fit in my '09 Honda Fit base model. I thought most carseats were pretty universal. Any ideas, suggestions for buying used carseats? (I know you should make sure they haven't been damaged, same as with a bike helmet.)

 

I use to run the Recaro Sport in my 09 a while back. They run about $250 each. They fit great, excellent side protection, and easy to undo from the seat in case you need to carry something big in the car.

but for infant seat (rear facing) i think i used some Graco one that clicked onto a stroller dedicated for it.
