so ive finally saved up some money and im going to buy an intake however I would like to do something simple but still nice much like the SSR (Sid Short Ram)

This intake has never given me any trouble. No 'Check Engine' light. Did not have to remove battery to install. The installation is about as simple as can be expected. The intake is of simple and elegant design.

With this intake you can Feel and Hear the engine go on Vtec. You will notice the car pulling harder when it is on Vtec. I am selling it because it is too Loud for me. It is fairly quiet below 4k RPM but above this and when it goes on Vtec (about 5.5k RPM) it gets Very Loud. People tell me they love the sound - it sounds like a race car and as loud as one too on Vtec.

Paid $260 for it delivered to my front door. The car and intake is in the Raleigh/Wilson, NC area.

when I looked into other intakes they were only for standard models, will this work on an automatic?

 

Yes! Contacted Gerry at PRM - he says he makes only 1 version of the intake for GE8 Fit and the one version fits both Automatic & Manual.

 

This is great I don't get paid till next week though. Keep me posted though if you sell it
