Biggest item was probably our entertainment center. When I bought it at the furniture store I pointed to my car and just told him I was gonna load it up in the Honda. He then proceeded to take it over to the CRV parked next to me. Took me a good 5 minutes to convince the guy that it would in fact fit in a tiny little econo-car.

You know, thinking about it... that little hidden compartment under the back seat would be fab for stashing an emergency towel. Just saying.

To keep on topic for the thread, I am looking forward to hopefully getting some good pictures of my little River car packed to the gills when I'm moving in a couple weeks here. Will keep you fine folks posted. ^_^

No pics, but I had four adults, one who was 6'5", plus four loaded backpacks, in my fit for a weekend backpacking trip, with no complaints. I was surprised how little it effected the power; plenty peppy on the interstate, though mileage suffered a bit.

Well, 2 weeks worth of camping/paddling gear and 2 canoes.

Webshots Rides offers thousands of the best car wallpapers.

Not shown in the pictures a 72 qt cooler on the front seat, and a 24" fan I tossed in just before leaving because it was to be 90+. Girlfriend had to drive her car to meet me at a later date and couldn't believe I got it all in my car. She thought I made 2 trips until I packed it all back in to go home. BTW ,loaded and 2 canoes 50% highway, 50% stop & go in rolling hills, and still got 30.2MPG with 5 sp manual. Still can't see how some here get less then 30mpg empty and on a commute.

You should see the looks we get on the highway when people realize it's not a dog.... LOL!

For what it's worth I think Honda would be impressed that a horse still fits in one of the smallest models.

No pic's but when moving you can fit 18 of UHaul's "small box" (16"x13"x13") into the back with the seat folded. Three boxes across row, three rows, two layers high. Can't see out the rearview but can close the tailgate.
Plus still have the front seat for travel necessities.

My sons mountain bike, 2 chairs and 2 kayaks. The blue kayak is 8 ft long and goes all the way to the front windshield. I am able to sit comfortably with the seat all the way back.

Went to a drive in movie last night, parked the Fit, opened the hatched and lied in the back with some snacks and our dog, it was perfect. Except I had to get out to start the car and let it run every 20-30 minutes.

After the movie was done she grabbed the blankets and the dog and fell asleep in the back while I drove home.
