I thought swift spring only drops the car 1 inch? Either way, I can't wait for your pictures. You must be really excited since it's only wednesday.

PS: take LOTS of pictures and use rulers/measuring tape for reference.

Something neat I found: Not my picture, sorry, I forgot who took them, but they are from a FitFreak member. Sorry, no source.

1.2" in front and 1" in rear.

But even though it's only 1" or so... I think it makes the Fit look better.

Swift springs are more about ride and handling improvement than being able to boast about knocking over a 12ounce beer can or pack of cigarettes... A car that sits too low creates a lot of problems.

I don't think lowering it will change the fact that the car looks like a minivan.

I installed Buddy Club coilovers to raise my car back up to stock height after I removed the Swift Mach springs.. The ride and handling is much better than with the stock springs and I don't have to reattach the front fenders to the bumper every time I go to the post office.. Having a car that resembles a minivan has probably saved me money on tickets I would have gotten in a car that has the look of a performance car.

You'll really like the Swifts. I'm going w/ coils soon, but only because I'm willing to sacrifice performance for looks to a small degree. If you're in for better performance and a small drop they're perfect!

I was thinking about going with T1R coils but I'm trying to get new some new wheels. I have some Motegi flat black MR125 16" x 7". I want some nice BBS wheels

good deal I would be excited to.

I hear nothing but good things about Swifts.

I'm still deciding on springs or coils but I will stay close to stock height even if I get coils.

if only we had a decent damper after market I would go that route.

Looks good, but even at normal ride height, I bottom out on curbs and dips.

I drive two fit, one stock, the other has swifts and 205 55 16's on stock wheels.

you'll notice a significant difference right away from the moment you sit (if you has some miles on the stock springs). less bouncy, way firmer and you will feel the road and turns better.

Stance is great and if you increase the tire width and throw on a RSB you'll probably be keeping her around for a while!

Well let me tell you I am one happy camper!!! I will post pics next week since I have a busy weekend.

The ride feels a tad better than stock springs. My car only has 10K miles so the suspension is still new.

Oh yeah I do have two pics from my phone...enjoy.

Watch out wild Bill, your sounding like an old fart... I would still be riding on the Swift springs if the drop in the front end had been a little less than it was on the GD3s.. I was bottoming out so bad on the front lip with the stock springs that the bumper was constantly being pulled loose from the fenders.. The entrances to parking lots and driveways around here were built in the Model T days when cars didn't have so much front overhang.. I even tore the front spoiler loose on a 95 GMC Sierra and 97 GMC Safari cargo van.
