Question 2009 Fit Sport fog light bracket.

I just purchased an 09 Sport. Love it btw. However I did not notice the fog lights were missing until I got it home. Luckily they were listed on the window sticker of the car. I "convinced" the sales manager to refund me the money to purchase the lights. Which costs around $105.

The housing for the lights was already there so I just purchased the lamp assembly. Upon installation I noticed they are also missing the bracket that holds the lamp to the housing. Does anyone know a part number for the bracket? It is the piece that looks to have the aiming screw on it.

I would hate to have to dump more money into complete assemblies when I am only missing a bracket. Or two rather.

Thanks!

Ok it sounds like you bought the lamp from the accessory kit. The brackets from that kit aren't available to buy seperately.

What should have been bought were the fog lights that come on the sport model. The sport version comes with lamp and housing all in one.

Thanks for the reply. After more digging this morning I agree with you. If you look at the diagram for the sport model and look at #11 That is the piece I am missing. If you try to buy that piece for a 2009 it appears not to be available. However on a 2012 model it is. It is also the exact same illustration. Part number 33901-TF7-J01 and 33951-TF7-J01. They can be seen here.

Honda Automotive Parts

I wonder if they are truly the same?

Thanks again!

While it might be the same illustration those part numbers come up as only fitting the 2012 model. Even looking at the pictures you can see that the fog lights a shaped different.
