Opinons? Debadge/Vtec decal

What do you guys think about these? I'm looking to finalize my build and am taking a 2nd look at the little things. I'm going for a clean/simple look.

I've always been a fan of the Fit and didn't want to fake the funk (think Si) so I've kept the rear emblem out of principle. However, do you think the rear looks cleaner w/ or w/o it?

Ironically, I have decals like the Si on the side...do they add to the look or subtract from it/look cheap?

I did the VTEC decals never big on decals but I like them on the back door. The only other decal was the plain dtail GE8 on the back hatch in the tinted section. I was thinking of debagding the back but can't really decide.

Your car has nice quality mods not over the top. The side decals are nice, as far as debadging not that big of a emblem not really sure if it would be that noticable. I try searching to find examples myself would have to see if it improves the look in my mind before doing it.

I think for your Fit, debadged at the back but keep the vtec decal intact. The vtec decal does stand out, but it isn't over powering that it attracts all the attention. When I look at the rear, my eyes go strait to the red Honda "H". The "FIT" badge is distracting in my opinion.

Just my opinion. Your car, your decals.

I'm a big fan of the look you have. I like the VTEC decals. The red badges should stay. Every other Honda out there has the classic chrome H's. Your Fit simply looks better with badges ( including the Fit badge)

It`s hard for me to see the rear plate holder. (My work computer sucks)

I would get a plain black plate holder. They have one that have little colour-matched (black) bolt covers so that it looks seemless. Most cars I see on the road still have the dealer plate holders or none at all (gasp....rust marks) I always put something between the plate holder and my car for protection (like rubber washers or even felt pieces) and it lets the water slide out the back as well.

Much like other owners debadge their cars, by having a plain black plate holder makes a statement IMHO.

They sell a silver (chrome?) coloured I-VTEC decal. It's a bit more subdued than the white one (cheap looking). And it looks really good on a black Fit.

Really nice looking car. You should be proud. I see you are from Baltimore. I was down there last summer. Best crab cakes ever. And your MLB ballpark is top notch. Great city you live in!

Hes not talking about the H emblems guys. Just the vtec decals and the "Fit" emblem. Personally I was skeptical about taking the fit emblem off, but when I finally did it, It looked much cleaner to me. I also have the vtec decals on the sides of mine, and the red h emblems

Do you have REAL VTEC? Or the factory 12v/16v econo VTEC?

I wouldn't advertise it unless I had the real deal.

I'd go no stickers, whether you leave the "FIT" badge or not is up to you. Its been something I've been struggling with for months now myself.

The GE8 L15 doesn't have a 12/16v type of VTEC. Engine is always running all 16v and the VTEC is actually going to a higher cam profile unlike the L15 in the GD.

As far as the badge and the stickers, well you will definitely get varying opinions, but it boils down to what you like most. Maybe alter your car on photoshop or something of that nature without either of the 2 or both and see how it looks to you. On mine, I removed the Fit badge, but kept the RS, only because it is of a reddish hue and well I love red.

Thank guys...and yes it says SOHC not DOHC.

Also the plate frame is a Tanabe, but maybe I should play around w/ that too.

I would either takeoff the "fit" or add the factory "ivtec" on the other side like this one...

It would balance out the back. But just my .02

I'm not usually a fan of decals, but the VTEC decal looks good, on black cars, for some reason.

That said, I plan to completely remove badges from mine.

Not really a fan of the red H on the front of the Fit, reminds me of a clown face. Just get the JDP grill and ditch the front emblem altogether. It does look nice on the rear since it's kind of complimented by the taillights.

Usually not a fan of vinyl stickers but I think they look good, OEMish even.

Photoshop is great for stuff like this. I wish I could find my copy

debadge the "Fit" , it's rather distracting.

Love the decals on the side, maybe it's because your car is black but it looks really good.

Overall, your car looks nice.
