So far I've only seen one person put on the decal and was wondering about everyone's thoughts... a decal saying "SOHC"...

 

I personally say no for my own car because I'd like to keep it clean. Of the one or 2 fits that I've seen have them on in this forum, they look decent....just not for me!

I think the idea is pretty lame.

 

I guess I don't understand. Is the idea to appear sporty? Or illustrate the high-tech makeup of the car? To me it's like painting the rear drums... any real performance car (save for big pushrod-engined domestics) are DOHC and have rear discs. Highlighting SOHC or the budget rear drums is basically spotlighting (to anyone that knows about cars) why the Fit is an econobox and NOT a sports car. Certainly not for me.

 

Personally, anything like that added after-the-fact is just "frontin". Unless you race your Fit and can back it up. But that's just my opinion

 

If you like stickers, sure go for it but to me its like bragging to your friends that your girlfriend has small tits but big nipples.

 

I don't see anything wrong with it. It does make it look sporty; goes along with the Fit "Sport" theme.

 

I think it looks good. It looks good on the Civics and you're only highlighting the efficiency of the engine when you pass them

 

LMFAO... yea... i get the point... just liked how it looked on the old Civic SiRs... ill just stick with the RS badge instead...

 

I've got them on my Fit but on the back end of the side skirts - I did not want them on the body of car because if I decide to remove them did not want to make a problem in an obvious place and my SOHC is guess where:


All are easy to remove if I get bored with them and decide to do something else. It just depends on what you like and don't like on your car.

No, I agree with keeping the car clean. I also don't think that SOHC is anything to brag about in a Honda engine.
