new Fit is the only Honda that increased (slightly) in sales last month

Jan sales figures just out, and our little Fit beat all odds and posted a slight increase in sales, while all other models in the Honda lineup decreased a big deal. The only other surviver is the Acura TL. Both are redesigns this year. Anyway i just want to say how proud i am of my little baby.

Yesterday i went to Trader Joe's and at the parking lot a lady who parked her giant minivan next to me asked what car it was. I said "It's a Fit". She had no reaction. Then I said "The Honda Fit". and she said "oh, it's sooooooo Cuuuuute!". I told her i had recently drove to NY (from Atlanta) and costed me around 40 bucks of gas to get there - and that was with a full load of stuff that will probably need a small SUV to fit in. That poor lady probably spent that much money jsut to drive her monster out of the garage early last summer.

I love my Fit. it "smiles" at me everytime I look at it - big happy smiles with 2 round "fangs" - reminds me of my favorate cat.

My parents parked their spanking new Blackberry Sport at Costco next to a minivan. The mom and kid that emerged from their just-parked van saw the Fit and its color and was just amazed. She asked what kind of car it was and just gushed endlessly about the beautiful color. She asked how much it was and once she heard she said, "Okay, that's it. I'm getting one. I'm trading in our (forget what other car she had) and getting one." She was sold.

I think we're all in agreement that we are in love with our Fits and we're driving something really special. Those uninformed do not know what they're missing.

I'm not surprised. They can't hardly keep them on the lots here.

That's weird, because the last time I saw another GE here in Atlanta was last Fall. I see alot of GD's, but never GE's. Ever.
