I tell ya that just looks awesome.I think that wheel/tire combo is perfect on the fit and the drop looks more like sportlines with the 205/45's

Just a note to anyone thinkin about this, mini's use a conical lug bolt. So you'll need a set of 60 degree lugs for them to seat correctly. Don't use the Honda lug nuts!

Would these work on a 2nd gen Fit?

I seen them on a 1st gen fit... but not sure if it will fit on the fit...

Question,

Do I just buy different lug nuts or actually have to replace the lugs which are on the car?

Please advise..
Thanks

you'll need new lug nuts. ours have studs that we just put nuts onto, mini's have holes that they screw lugs into. pretty much any "tuner" lug will work, but for your won sake, spend a little money and get some that are nice. i've had some ebay specials and now i run with muteki sr48's. they're a lot better, but they scratch up pretty easy. i'll eventually buy some really nice ones.

as far as those rims, they'll be fine as long as they're not 13's. I'm pretty sure those are 15" rims.

Just need new lug nuts. They need to be the same thread, but the actual seat of the lug nut needs to be a conical 60 degree. Im sure summitracing would have them.

You will just need to obtain new conical (or "tapered") lugs.

EDIT: jnesselroad beat me.

These are 15's but I only want them for winter.. If I need to replace the lugs every time Fall or spring rolls around.. its probably not worth it.

you just use 2 separate lug nuts. that's all. no need to replace the studs.

just get the tapered lugs from your local parts store, or ebay or tirerack, etc. you can source them any where. get 12x1.5mm

this is the type MINI uses. i know cause i had a R53 MINI. hahaha.

looing at the taper, i would use this instead:
20 12X1.5 SILVER LUG NUT Acura Integra RL CL TL RSX NSX | eBay

or anything without that little lip your link shows. something like this would work too, just get the color you want. if you do duraluminum make sure you dont use more than 80lbs as they strip easily.

NRG 100-Series 4-PCS Standard Racing Lug Nut Nuts M 12 x 1.5 GREEN | eBay

how about black chrome? im pretty sure these are steel (stronger than duraluminum) and the shape of the taper is probably more ideal as the cone surface is wider.

Great work Kenchan...I like these a lot more.

so is it worth it... someone is selling these Mini wheels for $50..4 wheels.

I have an 09 Fit sport in white and these will be used for my winter set up...Also my car is NOT lowered at all..

Shall i plasti dip them with white, black or bronze??

thoughts?

damn, $50 for 4 wheels?? that's too cheap. hahaha. i would ask 'so.... what's WRONG with them?? '

i would double check the offset just to ensure they dont interfere with your front calipers. it shouldn't but just in case. and yah, for snow sounds like a great deal.

ahh. hahahaha.

i would probably do bronze or gunmetal, graphite. but it's really up to you. the snow set i use on my TW 09' GE is plain ol' silver. it's some european brand wheel which i forget the name of and running WS60's.

blacks3r has white winter set. check out his journal in the photo's section to get an idea what it might look like.

white wheels are kinda hard to keep clean on a dd, that's all. i guess if you are willing to clean the front wheels often (due to discs) more to ya.

i see myself cleaning my fun car's wheels only after taking them out 2-3 times on a nice day. so if you're willing to do that on a dd that is exposed to all elements, i think you're okay.
