yah if you're going to spray paint, you're going to want to do it when ambient temp is at least 65F. watch out if you're doing plasti-dip as over spray is sticky unlike regular spray paint where overspray is usually just paint particle (dust).

That's going to be next to impossible.. today hit 22 celcius
(65 = 18.3)

I will have to wait for high noon... LOL

So in the past I have sprayed my rims with duplicolor... now I see people use plastidip then a colour spray... whats the difference?

i use duplicolor wheel paints too. plastidip is the latest fad. it's removable if you dont like it. it's a rubberized paint originally for pliers and tool handles. lol it's pretty sticky stuff.

check out youtube for plastidip.

yah, should work. i dont know how deep of a nut you need, but the 12x1.5 is the correct size and pitch and the taper on the lug itself is correct.

i see that this one comes with 4 valve stems too. i forget which year you have, but i know for a fact that my '12 requires tpms in order for the driver to turn off VSA. in snow driving having this option is nice.

my '09 can spin the wheels no problem with the tpms disabled...

Am I going crazy will this look JDM or rice??

2009 Honda Fit Winter setup
  • dropped on T1R springs...link to a honda Fit dropped on T1R
  • sitting on my winter 15's (Mini Wheels) link to my painted wheels
  • Still need to paint center caps and get the Honda "H" sticker emblems in black to stick on
  • Also, I still need to buy the conical lug nuts so they seat right. probably also in black.

any thoughts?
