Going to be doing a retrofit very soon.

Which one does everyone recommend?

Have TW GE8, should I paint the reflectors or keep factory look.

Paint reflectors. MH1 unless they've gotten around to updating the D2S.

 

I was wondering the same thing, i started researching at HIDPlanet, apparently the D2S versions arent as bright and dont project as wide. I like the idea of using stock bulbs, but the H1's appear a bang load better than the D2s's. So thats the way ill be going. And theres a few mods that will help the H1's be even better as Jamy says, paint the reflectors and tape up the 2 holes on the shield.

 

It'll be a while until that happens. XBARs are taking up our time at the moment as well as the 5Vector and Apollo 2.0 shrouds. Just wait for the new xStrip LEDs too. Those will be a hit.

 

On most colors I'd say paint the reflectors but on the TW, I'd leave it stock, especially if you were going to paint black. Black housings on the TW Fit make it look like it went out drinking heavily last night and got into a bar fight.
