08 fogs on a 2012 fit

Sorry if this has been answered before, but has anyone tried to put the 08 model fog light kit on a 2012 base.

Highly doubt it. Not are the vehicles off by a Mid cycle Refresh, they are off by a full model change. the '08 (GD3) is a completely different vehicle from the '09-'12 (GE8)
