I'm 17 and I'll be 18 in september and have been planing on getting a Fit for my 18th birthday for the last year and was wondering if anybody knew approximately when the new '08 model will be coming out. I don't know if I should just get the '07 model or possibly wait and see if the '08 model will be coming out close enough to my birthday that I could just get that one. Also I know there is a long waiting list for the '07 and that will definitely be a factor as well. Any helpful info like a ballpark figure of the release date, amount of time you had to wait before you received your Fit, and things of that nature would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Also I've heard a lot of rumors that the '08 model will feature a completely new body design but i doubt it. Hopefully it stays relatively the same cuz the Fit is by far the best looking small car out there.

 

maybe summertime? thats usually when new cars some out, if not then october time?

 

Yeah I'm hoping summertime cuz I don't wanna like buy the '07 and then have the new one come out less than a month later you know?

But then I've gone without a car to call my own for almost two years and I don't wanna wait any longer.

No new Fits until Mid 08.

 

Honda normally releases the new models in the August- September time frame excluding the first release of the FIT which was very strange for Honda.

We should start seeing more credible rumors/pictures by the June-july time frame.
